Welcome to OCS
Founded in 1999, Oglethorpe Charter School was the first start-up charter middle school in the state of Georgia, serving grades six through eight. In 2012, we moved into a state of the art building located at 7202 Central Avenue, Savannah, Georgia. At the close of the 2023-24 school year, we celebrated our 25th year of partnering with parents and the community to inspire students to achieve personal and academic excellence. After School Year 1 Credit Recovery will be held after school Mondays through Thursdays, May 1–22, 2025 from 3:00 –5:00 p.m. If your child received a Credit Recovery Letter stating your child is required to attend to be promoted, please click below to register.
